I feel like lots of people are doing movies with the kids on school holidays and things like that.

So that's a goodie.

Next, I've got a money win from Jane who said, my partner and I were planning on heading to Ikea to buy three chairs for our new office.

Woolies had 20 times points on the ultimate gift card.

So I bought $400 worth and got 40 bucks straight back in Woolies dollars, which I banked for Christmas.

Then they went in store, they tried the chair and it was so uncomfortable.

They ended up getting a different one that was a third of the cost.

So a $1,200 shop turned into a $760

$60 shop.

Oh, money win.

But happy accident that it was cheaper that you liked.

Next one I've got is from Di who said, last week we were going to have takeaway for dinner, but realized we'd had it in the past two weekends.

So my husband went to the shops on his way home, purchased some chicken for $12 and made wraps from the ingredients we already had.

Takeaway normally costs our family 50 to 60 bucks instead of 12.

It's getting so expensive.

So expensive.
