But that's fine because if you haven't played the game, you have time to play through, which you may want to do because the show is going to be a sequel to the video game rather than an adaptation.

Which I think is the correct way to go because if you talk to everyone that's played Baldur's Gate 3, their games are so different because there's so many choices and branches you can make.
