And so this year I was like, let's don't do that again this year because it's too chaotic.
And I want to enjoy the time or the day that we're together.
So this year we're doing it on the 23rd.
New tradition.
Because on the 24th, we have to go to the church for the Christmas Eve service.
Now, I'm saying that we don't have to go.
That's right.
It's really not.
I mean, it's really not bitterness because I'm grateful that we get to go.
But I did want to change it this year because I understand the kids' โ
frustration of not being able to, you know, to come home and immediately open presents.
So, um, so this year we also have our oldest granddaughter is married.
And so today, um, they signed papers on their house.
So they're officially moving out this week and becoming real adults where they take care of all of their, um, household needs.
In the big house.
Saving their money.
But I told them, I said, now look, here's the deal.
I realize that you're in your house.
You're going to be in your house.
You want to do things.
