Was it me deciding whether it was worth living or dying, for example?
Yeah, I think there is a process behind it.
And in hindsight, I can see the process.
But, you know, nonetheless, very interesting and unique experience.
Everybody's seen Robocop, I think.
You have this technician switching on the camera and going, hi, how are you doing?
And then switching off again.
And there were definitely experiences like that where I come to perhaps see a nurse's face, interact with that nurse and then drop out again.
The outcome of being in a coma for six weeks, having a very badly damaged liver, a lot of the body systems had been affected.
I'd gone through the sepsis, etc.
I was very debilitated.
So as well as the nerve injuries I had and the disuse injuries you get from lying about for six weeks, I'd lost about a third of my body weight and most of my muscle mass.
So there was a huge hill to climb in order to get any return to normal function.
I wasn't able to walk.
