So I got a WhatsApp message from somebody sympathizing with me, thought I had written it.

Chris, we're recording this on Tuesday afternoon at about 3.15.

So I want to move from one type of grief to another.

The UK political system is in a state of chastis once again.

Labour Party and the Tory party obviously got a total hammering last Thursday and Friday.

The Green Party did well.

Reform did exceptionally well.

Plaid Cymru did well.

And the SNP did pretty well.

But I heard a BBC commentator being asked on RT actually, well, the election actually wasn't as bad as feared for the Labour Party.

And the guy laughed and said, well, it's like saying that...
