And to me, there is just one hell of a massive conflict of interest here, because obviously, as leader of the Fine Gael party, Simon Harris, very focused on the opinion polls and ultimately the poll that matters the next election.

there's a there's a huge huge contradiction here i think i'm amazed there hasn't been a lot more talk about it conflict of interest is how i would describe it it is not good for the public finances and proper management of the public finances so it just leads to populist management of government expenditure particularly so
