So I was cursing the day that EVs were ever invented.
So it's not one-way traffic.
Chris,
I guess we've been incredibly downbeat in recent times about what's going on in the world.
But at the weekend, I think there was a cause for some cheer.
You know, Viktor Orban is gone after 16 years and Peter Magyar's Tis a Party has a two-thirds majority, which will enable major policy changes to be made.
And just think about what Orban represented over the last 16 years.
you know, national conservatism and illiberal democracy, obstructionism towards Brussels.
Basically, he was trying to
control the judiciary and the media and impact the rule of law.
He blocked sanctions against Russia.
He blocked aid to Ukraine.
And the hope now, of course, is that Magyar will turn around and reverse these policies and bring Hungary back into the EU mainstream.
I mean, Hungary is a very small country, I think less than 10 million people.
And yes, its symbolic importance globally has just been incredible because Orban was a poster child for Trump.
And, you know, we saw Vance helping out in his election campaign last week.
Vance really should stay in Washington, shouldn't he?
But anyway.
I guess I took, and the impact, of course, this will have on far-right movements around Europe.
You know, it's definitely a bad weekend for the far-right.
