She would have seen her job as a journalist to highlight the need for change and highlight the failures of the people who were responsible for bringing that change about.

The legislators failed the people and they failed Veronica.

That's a very good question.

I think she would be horrified.

But, you know, I do think if she was here today, the world would be a better place because I don't believe she would have sat idly by for the last 30 years and not continued with her work.

On a personal level, she'd be delighted because she'd be able to see her grandchild, who she's never seen.
