Because there's a big, you know, problem with wantrepreneurs is the term I've heard.
Like,
a wannabe entrepreneur who basically spends their life writing and rewriting long business plans.
And it's like, yeah, great.
Maybe you do need a business plan.
Maybe you don't.
But if that's all you're doing, you're never going to find out if it's going to work or not.
So you just kind of have to take a shot and go.
And, you know, the next five years, I read this when I was a kid and I was like, it was the most profound thing I had ever read in my life.
And I still come back to it a lot.
Like the next five years will go by no matter what you do.
that's kind of interesting, right?
To say like, oh, okay.
So you might as well do the thing because you're not going to stop the progress of time and you've only got so long.
So just get started.
And you know what?
If it doesn't work out, you can still be proud.
Like I tried something.
And actually this is one of the great strengths of Silicon Valley.
In a lot of cultures, it's a lot harder for people because it's like, well, if I try something and it fails, I'm going to have this black mark on me.
