But I also like, I've had so many friends of different signs with qualities I admire

that I've learned to kind of like selectively micromanage.

Like if I'm gonna hire a glam team or a PR person or whomever, I really like to trust that they know how to do their job and not try to micromanage things and then only speak if absolutely necessary.

Same thing, same with me.

I'm very like, sometimes I'm like, I'm gonna let you do your thing.

Well, I want the same trust, right?

If I give you the same trust, then you'll trust me when I really speak up and say, wait, no, that can't happen.

When you're at the place where you can start hiring a team and delegating things, what it means is you get to focus way more on the creative aspects of your job and being

your best self totally and when you get to bring people along with you it feels like one there's the benefit of bringing like home with you on the road yes exactly it's like I know that this person has always wanted to do this and so they get to come with me and we're all having fun you're so me but

But if you're going to include the family and the friends, it means including the relationship work.

I know.

I always tell people, if you want to hire family and friends, be ready to do the emotional work with them.

Right.

You're so right.

But if you need to be emotionally distant from your team, just hire strangers.

But to work with the chosen family.

Whomever, if they're close personal people, it's like you're making a choice to take that on to your existing relationship.

But you never know until you try.

I don't want to have to do that.
