So Kevin Bridges put on two arenas, so in two, three arenas the week after I'd sell them out in two days.

Like there is, there's a huge appetite for comedy, particularly at the moment it would seem.

And also I think, even though I'm not a big fan of the term female comedian, but I am a female comedian, there's no getting around that.

there is a huge like suddenly people are waking up to the fact that actually women would like to see themselves represented on stage yeah and not just a kind of elder white lad not that that's Kevin I don't mean him I just mean in general no I know what you mean but also I think that um

But that's, I think it's because you're doing live podcasts, I assume.

So when I have women saying they're going to come back, I'm like,

I'm torn between obviously wanting the business, but also I'm like, oh, God, you're going to see because there's tricks to stand up, you know, like there's there's we there's ways of working things.

And then there's like, you know, before I did stand up, I was kind of shocked.

I thought comics just went up and kind of winged it for an hour.

We're like, of course they don't.

That would be insane and boring and wouldn't get anyone anywhere.

so when there's women saying they're coming back I almost feel like asking them like not to because I'm like you're going to see I feel like it loses its charm a little bit yeah you're kind of seeing how the sausage is made exactly you're kind of pulling it back you're pulling back the curtains and you see but

So basically, I haven't... I've been off for Christmas and I really enjoyed my downtime.
