We would hope and pray that we would get to do some real world mission.
We trained as hard as we possibly could.
Everyone was very, there was a lot of, team one was very, they called it Stalag team one.
And there was another name for it, but it was very strict.
I've always heard No Fun One.
No Fun One, yep.
They had a bunch of names for No Fun One, Stalag Team One.
And yet, in my first platoon, the older guys would say, Team One, it's not just a number, it's an attitude.
Which again, now that I, you know, when I got older, when I was young, dude, I was like, that's a real thing.
Like, this is our attitude.
And so, you know, we literally had haircut inspections every two weeks, uniform inspections with our camis.
Like it was, we had command PT every day.
Everything was very professional.
And that's how, I fit in well with that, you know?
And, or I should say it fit me well.
because I liked the military and that's what we were doing.
That's interesting considering you don't like authority.
Yeah, yeah.
I think maybe at this point I had recognized that this was
this was that professionalism was part of the job for me, you know, for like that, that level of professionalism that I saw was, that was what we were supposed to be like.
