When you say that the alcohol silences the voices, I always thought of it as the other.

I thought of it as like alcohol releases people from their inhibitions and allows them to tap into this voice sometimes.

Well, the crazy thing is just coffee after all the Coke and all the other craziness.

But it wasn't what fueled your writing.

That's, you know, that's also, Stephen King said that, that when he stopped smoking, it was one of the most difficult things that he ever quit.

Like quitting the booze and quitting coke and all that stuff was one thing, but quitting cigarettes, he said he really noticed the difference in his writing.

Did this all line up with your conversion to Christianity?
