How many days could I skip school and not get expelled?
When I really turned it on was when I dropped out and started Trilogy.
So the story here is my parents were very unhappy that I dropped out of school.
My dad was definitely more of the rule follower type.
I was too much of the renegade.
And my mom was very upset.
There's that Forbes article where they're like, you're a moron.
It's a famous title.
This was a little over a year after I'd started Trilogy.
I was with my dad.
My dad was like, I know I didn't like you.
I'm so excited that you started Trilogy because I was so worried that you were a lazy little shit.
So worried about it.
And it was just because you were in academics and you didn't care.
And so you were always trying to shirk and do the minimum.
He's like, we're working 100 hours a week.
We're sleeping under the desk.
We're just doing everything right.
He saw that I found what I loved.
That was that unlock that you want.
