I eventually did send them to Alpha, which is a great story how they got there.
But it wasn't scalable, just like all other educational things.
I was like, McKenzie, you have a great school here.
It's great for my kids and your kids and all kids go to Alpha.
But this can't scale.
Three years ago with Gen AI, I was like, ah, this is finally the technology that is going to allow education to scale.
And we can take all this awesomeness where kids can learn two, five, 10 times better, faster, and get it out to a billion kids.
So that's when I became principal because I was like, okay, McKenzie, we can totally make this a super scalable thing, but I'm a product guy.
I got to be in it.
I got to see what happens when fifth graders get in a fight and when parents yell at you and all of those things.
Khan Academy has done an amazing job in getting that out.
You can deliver lessons online.
There's various apps.
Or you can just learn on YouTube.
And actually, homeschoolers know this a lot.
Most homeschoolers only spend a couple hours a day with apps trying to teach.
The evolution very much was using various apps, figuring out, okay, here's 10 years ago.
Dreambox was one of the leading apps back then.
There's using apps in order to have kids learn.
Now, the evolution has been how do you make the apps better?
