And he later added in that conversation with Daryl Helwani that conversations with Crowe Park now have more momentum than they'd previously had.

Obviously, in 23, it kind of went a bit public and he was slagging off Peter McKenna and vice versa and all went kind of into court of public opinion territory.

But the omens seem...

Genuinely good here?

Public, I think, and Eddie Hearn will reject this as he's perfectly entitled to do.

But there was a sense, I think, of, well, hang on, Eddie, you make a lot of money out of boxing.

You're planning on selling at Crowe Park and you want someone else to foot the bill.

And then presumably a huge amount of profit goes to, of course, Katie, which is fine, but also to you.

And why is the taxpayer doing that?

And you're kind of leveraging, well, it's your kind of national civic duty really to put this on for Katie and government, you should stump up and insurers and Crowe Park, you should stump up.

And there was a degree of, well...

Are we lining your pockets a little bit here?

And I think people felt a little bit antagonized by the way he was talking about this fight.

There was an entitlement there.

The NFL, it seems, based on the post-match report, brought in 100 million, which from your 10 million investment government is good value, etc.
