Yeah, a lot of people liked the interview.
Friend of the show, KVV, was asking the questions.
They seemed to have a nice rapport.
So just to give you a kind of a sense of the mood Rory was in.
I thought this was kind of a very...
instructive answer it like illuminated something about him that you actually you knew was there but it's not something people would ever say about him and when he kind of voiced it as you'll hear i kind of went oh yeah that is actually his vibe what do you feel like you've learned about yourself in the last few years uh
What a brilliant insight.
Yeah, he's amazing.
That's why we were done last week about the documentary.
I was like, he's knocking out documentary quality interviews like of a random Tuesday all the time.
Like this documentary needs to have more because he's doing this for 20 years.
But it did strike me as really, really, really like...
It's strange when you listen to him talk for so long and I hadn't heard him talk about that before.
He suddenly got to the core of so much about him.
And I think Padraig Harrington is a natural optimist and has had longevity as a result.
And it struck me, you know, in this kind of week where we've had Lowry, you know, can be so hard on himself.
You can see Lowry be tough on himself on the course.
actually in golf of all sports where mistakes are commonplace and knitted in, baked into every player's life, actually optimism
might be almost the most important attribute for longevity.
Because he said there his resilience isn't some kind of like, oh, it's grit.
