Yeah, I didn't want to out him, but he had a Jack Reacher book was underhand and he's halfway through it.
You know what I mean?
You know, reading is reading.
If there's a gateway drug that gets you in the habit, I'm all for a bit of Jack Reacher.
I've never read them.
I've seen the movies.
I can see how those books would be good.
You know, John Grisham-y kind of territory, page turnery.
Would they predate like the Jason Bourne books and all that kind of stuff, I wonder?
Has everyone taken a look?
That's so, there's such a parallel there with Dick Francis books, which I used to read because they were all over my granddad's farm, horsing farm.
Dick Francis' Sit Down.
He was a jockey turned author, big bestseller back in like a long time ago.
But he wrote one a year always.
And then his son just said, well, you know, Dick's no longer with us.
I'll write them.
I'm not sure it should work like that.
