That's the funny thing.

I went back to get my teaching certificate.

During that first year, I was super bored during the classes.

And so I started working on the side, just writing.

Yeah.

And next thing I knew, writing these scripts and writing for other people, I was making as much as a first year teacher.

I think there's a lesson for all of us in there, though, Nathan, that as entrepreneurs we can all take, which is don't rely on a system for your education because everybody says the system's broken.

So why do I want to rely on that?

You're right.

If I want to learn something, I have to find my own teachers.

I have to find my own mentors and I have to create my own curriculum to get what I want out of life.

It didn't grow.

Well, here's what happened.

I decided writing for other people was silly.

That was going to be a long approach.

It was still kind of boring, frankly.

Ghost writing where my name's not on anything.

I am narcissistic enough, Nathan, that I like seeing my name on stuff.

I'm very narcissistic, so I understand.

So I decided to create a website called the Free Financial Advisor.
