let's get stuck in then to Munster losing at home to cast disastrous really lost by two points in the end and they are out of the Champions Cup happy to say Rory O'Connor of the Irish Independent is here and Eddie O'Sullivan is with us as well hey Eddie
How are you doing, Joe?
So my intro there focused a little bit on Leinster, but obviously we're starting with Munster.
That is the story.
They'll be in the Challenge Cup away to Exeter in the last 16 and then Cardiff or Benetton in the quarters and then maybe La Rochelle once again around the corner.
That feels of kind of faint consolation right now, Rory.
They've lost four games in a row and with it, their season has just been completely upended.
Eddie, it's, you know, like I said, just last Monday, we were talking about a very spirited, well-organized, committed performance in Toulon, encouraging, and now their season has completely folded in on itself.
What about that, Rudd?
Like, no doubt the outcome is horrendous.
I do see where Eddie's coming from.
So, look, that is an issue.
If you listen to Clayton McMillan afterwards, his assessment of the game probably ties in with your feeling a little bit, Eddie.
He says there wasn't one thing in particular, kicks a goal, fell off a few tackles, didn't take a few opportunities, missed some line outs.
It was an accumulation of little things and that hurt us.
He did say of their defence, we don't make it hard for opposition to have to come back and get points.
And that is the one worrying trend for me over the last three, four weeks.
And a real touch on the defence there, Eddie.
