I wouldn't do that.

If you didn't think that guy was going to be worthy of it, I still think this team has a lot of pieces that needs to be filled.

And if you can do that, ultimately whoever is that quarterback comes in, if it's 2027, then at least you have people around him who can get the job done to help him as a young quarterback.
