I was in Indianapolis last Friday afternoon for Connor's AAA debut, and here we are seven days later.

I didn't think I'd be running into you again, but I'm very happy for that.

Did you get any sort of indication from Connor like it was going to be that fast?

Last week, Connor said he was, I think, 12 or 13 when he got the feel of, like, oh, I'm pretty good at this.

I might be able to do this professionally.

And here we are seven years later, and he is about to make his major league debut still as a teenager.

When did you, as a coach and also as his dad, watch him and think, Connor has a shot to play in the majors one day?
