Gillian can't see this.
The portrayal of the players, one, it's unfair because they're just portrayed as morons.
But secondly, it makes it less interesting.
Why couldn't we have seen a few players who have a bit about them?
have the conversation that I would quite like to see someone have with Roy Keane, which is, dude, we're in Japan in four or five days, just play.
That conversation, which I ache to hear, and you want to just put yourself inside pan in some position at the heart where you could sit down with Keane and go,
There wasn't enough 3D Roy Keane.
And if they talked to the players, the players would tell you very quickly, there were times where Roy Keane... It's the life and soul of the party.
He would wake up on the right side of the bed and after dinner, gather around everyone and one of the greatest storytellers on earth.
Here it is.
And they would just be like, love him, like enthralled to him.
if not 3D certainly not the kind of I wonder do they think what the movie we were asking for like that has that would require so much like skill like that's an unbelievably big thing like you want Aaron Sorkin meets Shakespeare meets someone else and Roy Keane with the writing credit too maybe there was just a degree of like if we shoot for that it could be so flat and dull and worthy maybe we get a banana boat in there and have a bit of humour like maybe that became part of it I feel like
I think it would take enormous self-restraint to not watch a movie about yourself.
Mick McCarthy has definitely watched it.
And I don't think Mick's going to love what he sees.
What problems and complaints could Keane have?
He comes out of it... For a guy who...
played a major role in blowing this thing up.
