He's the youngest of these three guys.

He's the star on the rise.

He's the guy you discovered in the draft, developed, and now when he's on the verge maybe of stardom, and don't forget at 24 playing only 60% of the snaps, he led them in a lot of key pass rushing categories like pressures and knockdowns and hurries and all that stuff.

why would you just not want to have the prime years of his career and instead get a comp pick?

That's the worst of the scenarios to me.
