And I mean like, You say it's different, but like it is very similar being like what you do with social media and stuff like that. I will say, like... Stand-up is very different. I use a very different part of my writer brain for stand-up than I do when I'm writing scripts. I will say the transition from plays to screenwriting wasn't that big of a leap. You can be a little bit more dynamic and a little bit in certain ways, and you can be a little bit more experimental in theater.

because it's like i see so many plays where it's like oh you wanted to be your screenplay you know yeah what about it like makes it special in this space like in front of a live audience you know like what can you do like work around that and so i you know it's it's different in that regard but like the fundamentals are the same in screenwriting playwriting so

Yeah, because it's like I go up and I like I'm not somebody as a stand up who like sits in a coffee shop and like writes down the jokes verbatim in my notebook and then goes on stage and says, you know, word for word from the notebook. Like I write down little like premises and ideas and thoughts and things like that. And then so much of my writing process as a comedian is about writing on stage.
