But this guy is the brightest spot on the Red Sox of the season.
And I think, you know, that shouldn't be taken for granted when you have a rookie pitcher doing this.
Yeah, I mean, Bennett's definitely been very good at AAA.
I think anybody in the Red Sox organization would tell you he's up a little earlier than they probably would have wanted.
You know, this is his second stint up, but they had a lot of guys ahead of him on the depth chart at the beginning of the year.
Johan Oviedo, they got in the trade, has been hurt since the first week of the season.
Cutter Crawford and Patrick Sandoval were supposed to be a couple weeks behind at the beginning of the year.
Both of them have not pitched yet.
You know, Crochet was supposed to be out a couple weeks at the end of April.
He's still out six weeks later.
And then Bayo, you know, a guy that looked like an organizational building block, is in AAA, not because he's rehabbing, but because he was optioned because of performance.
So Bennett's getting an opportunity because all that stuff happened.
His first few starts have been okay.

You know, they made a really creative trade to get him by trading one of their best pitching prospects in Luis Perales for Bennett, who is one of Washington's best pitching prospects, kind of a challenge trade between Breslow and his former assistant, Paul Toboni.
The guy that, you know, honestly, Red Sox fans are just getting to know as well.
But another big opportunity, and you kind of look at it and zoom out, that means there's four lefties in the starting rotation.
That's with Crochet out.
