You want it to be there to get people to interact.
But like you said, the companions are not pushing back.
You're not forcing young people to compromise.
So it doesn't have all the sort of usual human-to-human interactions that we need to learn.
But that's a good point.
So that's something worth pointing out for listeners is that most of these products do have...
these universal settings you can go in.
And so the sycophancy, this thing they always say, oh, that's the best idea ever.
You're doing a great job.
And there's data saying that that's actually not really good.
One, it's more addictive.
You like to stay on there for longer.
And it's sort of one of the ways that this sort of
You can go down rabbit holes of sort of these misbeliefs and start believing things that aren't true.
And so it's good to go in there and sort of give it these universal settings.
Don't just say, I'm amazing.
That's the best, you know, don't be sycophantic.
So I would say, yeah, for anyone young, AI companion kind of style apps, hard no till 18 or 20 or at least your frontal cortex is more developed, which is really in the 20s.
And for the other more sort of productive work style products, then this is the challenge.
