They treat us like aircraft. In Canada, you're always, you're fucking on your own, right? So then they're talking to you like an aircraft. You have your eye fire and your fixed wing, so it'd probably be... easier for you to understand that. But when you're not used to it and they start talking to you like airplane, you're like, what, base? Or like fucking what? Like, you know, clear to approach.

They've been around so long. Those machines are dull when it comes to the engineer. They'll start to tell you if there's a problem. So usually if you're going to scare yourself or kill yourself, it's you fucked up.

Yeah, I've had, you know, touch wood, a lot of fuck me, holy fuck moments, but which you learn from, obviously. And I think attitude matters. Is a huge part. And a lot of, a lot of like, especially for low time guys coming into like flight programs or companies taking you on, you're putting a lot of responsibility in someone's hand.

It's kind of crazy to be honest with you, the lack of time and experience that they let somebody fly people around. Right. So I think they like to see a bit of life experience, a little bit of maturity because you're being, you'll be less, less pushy.

And the old thing was that 500 hours, you know, you're probably the most dangerous because you think you know the machine or you know how to fly, but you don't necessarily have the skills to get yourself out of trouble when you do. Once you hit 1,500 hours and you haven't killed yourself, you're probably okay because you've done it where you're like, holy fuck, I'm not doing that again, right?
