I stood on a board for the first time, 2008, for four seconds.

And apparently, according to my wife, I screamed like of joy.

And then someone crashed into me from behind.

And I really never got back on the board again.

But starting this year I'm going to start taking surfing lessons here because I still have that kind of dream of doing it because I find it so beautiful.

And my kids, I have two sons, they surf almost every day and I just love watching them surf and the bus they get out of surfing.

There was the only Scandinavian thing in the whole book.

Well, I met these characters.

I mean, right away when I start reading it, I just remember these guys down in Bondi on Campbell Parade.

And they had these kind of names.

And they were awesome.

That's why I was so fascinated, because there was almost like addict.

like they were addicted to the sea.

And when we started to talk, they have basically their professional lives that were affected by the surf.

You know, they worked in telegraph station.

They were garbage collectors.

They did anything they could to have time off during the day to surf.
