I had some questions with the current situation with the student loans and whatnot.

My wife and I were both teachers.

Never made much more than poverty line, really, into the last couple of years.

I got out of the educational system and got into a sales environment.

And we paid off $45,000 in credit cards, $30,000 in personal loans.

We are down to $195,000 in student loans.

We both have advanced degrees.

$195,000 in student loans and $215,000 on our mortgage.

We have a 15-year at 2.25%.

And so the real reason I'm calling is we are in a time of 0%.

uh, just a pause on student loans.

Um, and we are up because we can do retroactively.

We, there was some things we didn't understand about the payback programs because we did the public servant thing.

So we're under review right now to see if we qualify for all those years.

We were teachers and didn't get credit for it under the public service because we didn't know that was a thing.
