And maybe I get in there and I look good and I can rehabilitate my career. But I think Sam Darnold is going to have to knock it out of the park and maybe win At least win one game, maybe win two for them to really put the pressure on a guy that we know in that region. Like everybody likes JJ McCarthy. He's a Michigan guy. To supplant him, I think it'll take something like that, Stugatz.
Like the NFC Championship game. It'd be hard to turn your back on Darnold after that. Right, right. I think so. Gonna be interesting.

Well, like here's the biggest thing. First off, we all have to stop blaming CJ Stratton. Every channel I turn out, it's CJ Stratton, it's CJ Stratton, it's CJ Stratton, it's CJ Stratton. And I get it, it's not as good. But you heard me say last week, it's institutional there right now.

He didn't go from being like some good decision maker who can dot the I from 70 yards away with his great right arm and accuracy and all of a sudden like, oh, I can't figure out how to throw the ball or find an open receiver. Hey, this is just in. Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do. Nobody's f***ing open. They can't protect. Yeah, there's issues. I mean, that's the biggest problem.

Now, I know he isn't perfect, but I think it's more of a ripple effect of like, every time he drops back now, he's got people in his face. You guys have heard me explain the protection issues they have, not only schematically, but man-to-man on the interior part of their defense.

Oh, what if the center doesn't figure it out? Oh, what if the center's wrong? So I think all those things and C.J. Stroud's peeking over his back shoulder or whatever going, wait, who's coming free? I don't know where's where.

Do I trust my center that he got this right? And if he did get it right, I don't know if we can block anyways. So I think there's a lot of things there in Houston, Stugatz.

He's been good. Exactly right. He's a starting quarterback.

That's the biggest thing. We were saying seven weeks ago, no way, he can't do it. Again, I think you see another evidence in, you can bench a rookie quarterback and he can come back, or a young quarterback, just like Anthony Richardson, who's had good moments. You can do that. We got into this soft, sensitive moment or decade here. Oh, you can't hurt his feelings. We grew up in an era where
