The fallout from the fraud epidemic in Minnesota continues as two men from out of state have pleaded guilty this week to millions of dollars in so-called fraud tourism.
The two fraudsters, who are from Philadelphia, admitted in court that they'd learned that Minnesota is a place where it's easy to get away with egregious Medicaid fraud.
So they set up sham businesses in the housing stabilization program and managed to steal more than $3.5 million from taxpayers before getting caught.
ABC5 tried to get comment from the fraudsters.
They called it fraud tourism.
