And ICE could show up at these large gatherings.

They have appeared in different states at Mexican and Hispanic festivals.

So there are plenty of people in our Irish-American community and our Irish community that are undocumented or overstays.

And they're afraid.

They never know when they're going to be approached by ICE as they approach their vehicles in the morning.

And that's how it'll happen.

ICE will not be getting warrants and knocking on doors.

They'll just be waiting for them outside.

And when you go to your vehicle in the morning, they'll say, Declan, and you'll turn around.

And before you know it, you'll be in ICE custody and you'll be detained and removed from the United States.

There are very few legal remedies for people who have overstayed their visas.

They can be married to a U.S.

citizen, or they can have a child who's a U.S.

citizen over the age of 21 sponsor them.

But for the majority of Irish overstays,

There's really nothing that can be done legally for them.

And this is not an Irish problem.

This is a U.S.

problem.

So it can't be fixed by Irish politicians.
