they're going to get one flush.
You know, his, his history will be when he says that to, to come back, you know, with the same approach and the same line combinations, deep pairings and so on.
So I don't think there's any reason, you know, to, to panic and start changing things.
You know, he has the benefit of last change, right.
Being the home coach.
And, you know, you've got Nick Suzuki, who's a finalist for the Selkie trophy and,
he played an outstanding game in all three zones and, you know, I'd have to look back and I'm about to at the shift by shifts and who was matched up against who, but to me off the naked eye in our descriptions last night, it appeared that, you know, Suzuki saw a lot of Sebastian Ajo and, uh, and they started the game with Jake Evans against Logan Stankhoven's line and the Stankhoven line combined for 31 points through the eight previous playoff games and the hottest line in the Stanley cup playoffs.
And, uh,
They were okay, but that's probably their worst game too, but that's in the same bin with everybody else.
The Jarvis line scores right away, and now they're finally onto it.
They've been dormant, Ajo, Spechnikoff, and Jarvis.
But they score early, so the Hurricanes feel, okay, we're going to get contributions finally.
So to me, that will sort itself out in the second game, and I think Rod will β
Basically roll it out again the same way there's no practice for them today and they're just going to skate in the morning and play again so I would think based on how he goes about it that that would mean that if he had a practice today he might tinker with his lines a little bit.
and maybe take Ehlers off the third line with Stahl and Martinuk and fool around with that.
He has some options that he can go to, but I think it will be let's play our game and see what it does and then go from there tomorrow night.
Well, you know, it's funny because he had seven years as an assistant before he got the opportunity to be the head coach.
And those were tough years, right?
The Hurricanes went 10 years without making the playoffs.
The market obviously was questioned a lot in terms of the viability of it and can it work and all this.
