9-11 kam, als wir dort waren. Wir haben 12 Tage nach dem Anflug geflogen. Wir sind nicht nach Afghanistan gekommen. Wir haben uns bemerkt, dass wir nach Afghanistan gehen. Wir sind nach Bahrain gegangen. Wir waren da für eine Woche oder so. Ich glaube, fast einen Monat, zwei oder drei Wochen da drüben, um nach Afghanistan zu gehen. Und dann kam der Anruf und sie haben eine Entscheidung gemacht.

Also hat der Mann in Afghanistan gesagt, sende mir den anderen Platoon. So my platoon was ready, our platoon commander, my platoon was ready to kill. Because we knew we weren't going to Afghanistan because of this... It's a tough pill to swallow. ...relationship.
