And he said to me, and he starts talking about, you know, the water flows toward the eastern region. But watch this verse. This is Ezekiel 47 in verse 8, because you're like, well, how do you know this is applying to that? I mean, you've got the water, the living water, the temple, and there's no doubt John is referring to this.
Because then it says, when it empties into the Dead Sea, the water becomes fresh. Well, when you go to that region, I've been to the Dead Sea. Nothing much fresh about it, is it? Oh, man. And you know the reason it's dead is because nothing flows out of it. It only goes in and it doesn't flow out.

So here's Ezekiel hundreds of years ago using this illustration that Jesus would say, this is what it's like for the people to be indwelled by the Spirit of God. Right. And he gives a picture of the Dead Sea coming to life and creatures living and trees growing. Because I'm telling you, I went to the Dead Sea, and it just literally, everything around there, it's not just the sea itself.

The whole place is just dead. It's in a desert. And I think that's why these people, what Jesus was trying to do is give them a greater picture. Because here we are. We're in the wettest part of America, literally. Look at the staffs. And we take it for granted how powerful the water is and what it does.

Even when it doesn't rain here, if it rains up north here, this water just becomes this dangerous, uncontrollable, powerful thing that you just basically have to get out of the way of. And then when you think that's how we are as spirit-indwelled people, I mean, what a picture of what God wants to do through you to this world, you know, and let himself be known. So it is very powerful.

Well, you realize that we're called to be something in the name of the Lord. And so by being that, there will be resistance. And somewhere in there, we know that God is real and that we're totally dependent on him. And it's just very inspiring.

So then in Revelation 22, and look, we did a guy on a podcast a couple weeks ago about all these jewels that are described as the bride of Christ. I love that. Look, I've actually had one person say, oh, you were wrong about that. I was in a grocery store. They're like, no, that's a picture of heaven. I'm like, nope, read it again. I just gave no grace or mercy in that moment.

You didn't go, I could be wrong. You just said no. I just said, nope, go back and read it again. You missed it. It is a depiction of the bride of Christ, human beings, of which we are. And then to give some validation here in chapter 22, look what he brings up. This is right after in 21, 22, it says, I did not see a temple in the city because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
