Paul is the Sport Ireland High Performance Director.
And I guess there was a worry like, is this happening in other sports?
You know, how do we know this is just about rowing?
And he did his best to assuage fears of problems in other sports.
It was a tricky question.
It was hard, though, to understand why rowing was such a different set of circumstances.
Why, yes, that wasn't resolved in timely fashion.
But trust us, all the other sports, we've got a suite of interventions which work.
