So, boom. I get out. And for those of you who have done time, maybe five to four years isn't for a lot of people. Maybe it is for a lot of people. But it's the greatest day of your life. I was so euphoric when I saw my dad at the bus stop. I was like, oh, freedom. I was so happy. I'd done my four years, 10 months, and I'm happy.

And instead of taking the bus, my dad drove me to San Bernardino to the halfway house. So I get his phone and I call the case. I'm sorry, I call it CPS or whatever. I'm out. What do I need to do? How do I need to do it? Blah, blah, blah. He's got a court case in like three weeks. He's in foster care, whatever. How long had he been in foster care? Two years. See, I didn't know that.
