And that's what they did.

Except the house they bought Joe was on a chemical dump.

But I didn't know it and they didn't know it because they were from New York.

And so when I found out, I called them up and I said, guys, we can't give away this house.

It's on a fucking chemical dump.

because RCA was dumping chemicals out in this field that was right next to the house that we bought.

And back then in the early 80s, there wasn't much legislation about where you could dump that kind of stuff.

So they had to buy another house, which they weren't happy about.

So they had to buy two houses.

Couldn't sell the other one, gave it away.

And Sykes to this day, I'll tease him about it, and he'll go, oh, we took that off the books years ago.

But it went from walking down the street,

to nobody know who the fuck you are, to walking down the street, and everybody knew who you were.

Everybody.

I mean, at the height of MTV, I couldn't go anyplace.

Oh, yeah.

It helped me get over it.
