I think Russell Wilson on television would be a nightmare.
I remember when Drew Brees first got hired.
I'm like, Drew, I get it.
You're a really famous player.
You're going to go to the Hall of Fame one day.
You're putting me to sleep here.
And I thought when he came back, he was much more aggressive and just willing to kind of let it fly a little bit.
You're no longer, as a player, you really have one goal, right?
To do everything humanly possible to win.
Whether that's with your coaches, your teammates, you're just singular focused.
When you're on television, we're paying the bills, the consumer.
Entertain us.
And the game's naturally going to entertain us.
But if I'm watching a studio show...
I don't think he's that great on television.
I think, you know, relative to hype, but I understand hiring Rex Ryan to put on television or Randy Moss, because historically those guys didn't give a bleep.
They would say whatever, whenever, then sometimes you watch him.
I was like, God, I wish he'd let it rip a little more, but I totally understand the hiring of those human beings.
