It's a very complicated setup with Dietrich Mateschitz.
And Helmut Marko being that important line into Red Bull, so had a lot of power that Christian wasn't necessarily under full control.
And there were things that Marko did he wasn't aware of.
And Christian's trying to keep these two balanced things, not having always the full picture.
from marco so sometimes he would go direct to dietrich other times marco would deal with it questions over contracts there are questions about was there a clause somewhere in terms of agreements with red bull that vettel was clear number one and had to be honored because christian was they said there was never clarity about this in some respects so i wonder if
he was always onto a loser in some situations.

And I think he was someone who thrived on this mindset
sense of paranoia the whole Aussie grit thing like you know knuckling in and being super strong and tough and not taking anything lying down was what made him so so strong so brilliant that's what got him there what got him there and if you say that was a you know mistake to have it when you were fighting for the championship actually he wouldn't have been in the first place wouldn't have been there in the first place if he hadn't had those qualities so this sometimes the
You look at some of the greats, for example, that there are benefits to being a great in doubting yourself and not being super convinced of yourself because it stops arrogance being there.
And all these complications of our champions, better champions, if they have absolute conviction that they are the very, very best, or does that lead to complacency, make you not deliver your best.
