It stuck out.
My favorite song is Kara Let the Moon Come In because...
I've always wanted to do a song like that.
And it's just a real easy, simple tune with me and a piano.
And I get to not worry about going out of time because I get to be all dramatic about it.
And I love doing that.
And the band at first was like, let's put this to a drum track.
I was like, oh, God.
And I get in the studio and I tell Sam, like, this should just be me and a piano.
And he listens to it.
He goes, of course it should be just you and a piano.
And I was like, thank God.
There's a producer in the room.
Yeah.
Because when it's your idea, then it seems like it's just John wanting to show off.
And your band guys have been with you for 25 years.
You're going to have these arguments over and over again.
And it's great having someone in the room who knows how to get everybody doing that stuff and also knows what's cool about you.
Because when you're in the band for 25 years, you don't know what's cool about you.
You need somebody to go, you know what's good about you guys, what you guys do?
