And I think that's that's the update.
Yeah, I'm sure there'll be some nerves.
It's first game.
But I think we've liked him since we acquired him a couple years ago in terms of hitting the ball hard, being pretty physical, being a good athlete.
And I think where he's kind of gotten to is just...
a little bit of a more redefined tighter approach at the plate and cut down on some swing and miss and has allowed him to use that kind of natural power and, and physical skills to hit the ball hard.
So it was a progress we saw in spring and he carried it over into the season in Buffalo.
And again, you know, you get a, you get a chance to come up and make a good impression.
He made a good impression in spring, you know, just in terms of the kind of guy that he is and the way he plays.
But yeah,
opportunity for him to kind of you know see what he can do at this level what separated him from some of the other infielders at the minor league level i think you know when we're in touch with the staff down there player development and the staff in buffalo um i think it's more it's the bat quality it's the consistency um the progress he's made defensively at the corners and at second second is a
A little bit bad breaking him in a fairly new position, but I think he's capable to handle it.
And I think it's just kind of the bad quality.
You know, I know that, you know, Josh Kasovich had a good spring and he's doing OK as well.
But you kind of lean into the staff there and what they see every day in terms of the work, the progress and the results.
I mean, that's, that's, you kind of target that wherever we ended up at the end of April, you know, you kind of target, okay, let's make some progress, you know, here and, and really try to take some steps forward.
So with that and with some guys, you know, hopefully getting closer to coming back to the team.
That's kind of a, that's the hope, you know, I think when then you narrow it down into trying to win every series and then you narrow it down into winning pitches and you try to just stack that up and stack that up.
