from an outcome that you didn't want to have happen.
It's probably been the best possible outcome for him is outing since then.
Right.
So it's a credit to him and Pete and the group for kind of tackling some things head on and saying, hey, what do we need to adjust?
It's it's really a credit to Jeff.
You know, we were joking last week.
You know, you go from
Coming in with a light show and the lighters and the cell phone lights, you know, in the ninth inning.
And, you know, I think there was a game here where he was coming in in the seventh and, you know, they were doing like the loony dog count.
A little bit different, a little bit different adrenaline rush, you know what I mean?
But he's handled it.
You know, I think his stuff is...
holding and even ticking up like the velo in tampa was really encouraging you know seeing some 98s even some 99s and and pitching like you said kev pitching you know like no matter what your stuff is whether it's hoff or whether it's flower or trey or louis like you gotta get pitch you gotta execute so i think he's gotten back to that and you know there's gonna be times where um depending on the game again it
I know I said closer by committee, and he could be part of that.
You know, if we like Louie or Roger or somebody at a different part of the order and that happens to be the eighth inning, I got no problem hitting him in the ball in the ninth.
You know, he's done it.
You know, and I think that he's at a point where he feels better about his stuff right now.
But he's been great.
Again, man, I know I probably publicly defend him more than most people who listen to the show want to hear.
But, I mean, he's handled everything great, man.
