It's like, why make it?
I mean, I guess part of the problem is that Britain's problems are largely supply side issues.
So we make it much harder to get oil out of the North Sea, for example, or energy in general than it needs to be.
We make it much harder to build stuff than it needs to be.
And these things are difficult issues.
The building more so than the energy, that's more, I mean, I would say ideological, but that's another discussion.
But instead, tackling all these things just comes down to subsidizing demand, making potential shortages even worse.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, this is not this specific government's fault that we've ended up.
This is decades of plaque building up in the system, basically, and no one being able to tackle it.
So, I mean, yeah, this is just more the latest in a long line.
This is not party political.
This is just political.
Today, we got the PMI figures, which sort of, again, just ladled on the misery a bit.
