I don't think it reaches the heights of what Philip Miller are doing here.

I think the thing that makes it really special is just the level of fun we're having.

Despite the fact that this is, to your point,

The worlds are ending.

These might be the last few people to ever exist ever.

This is the most dire of dire situations.

And we're like, ha, look, Rocky's dancing.

Look at their connection.

We're not really thinking about the implications of what they're set to do until we go back to the flashback.

I think their sensibilities were perfect for this film, and they made it what it is.
