Right, but the heroes in Game of Thrones, they had their plans measured in centuries.

He's just looking to be in the next day.

And I think that what makes this show so appealing to me is when he finally talks to Baratheon and he's just kind of listening to him talk at him.

And he's like, well, if you're not here to celebrate, you're here to kill me.

Right.

And Dunk is just profoundly confused.

Because he doesn't know why.

Because he's being fucked with.

Yeah.

He doesn't mean it.

But he's never encountered anybody in his life that can think or do the things that he does.

He will think like that, and he'll get profoundly drunk, and he'll be as grandiose and fun and not caring about his house or the money or the food or anything like that.

But this is probably the best day of Dunk's life.

He gets a free meal, infinite ale, and befriends a lord that may or may not even remember him the next day.

And...

the next, the next meal, the next thing that he gets to sleep on her, he's sleeping under a tree and he'll probably never see him again.

Like you wanted him to think, oh man, when, uh, when what's his name, like rejected him.

He's like, I like a million nights took wounds for my father.

And some, some died and some died and we weren't even going to remember you.

Yeah.
