And I was like, I can't take your β what are you talking about?
And they were like, no, take it, take it.
And then finally the wife β they were probably late 50s, early 60s.
The wife said, we share it all the time because if we can't share it, it has too much power over us.
And I love that definition of generosity.
So that could be β
Like we're doing a two-day event called Stage and Page in our office in downtown Franklin that's for speakers and writers.
And so like generosity might mean I share what I've learned about this thing.
It might be I share my time.
It might be I share my wisdom.
It might be I share my finances, whatever.
But like a generous life is really appealing to me.
You're waiting for someone to say, go.
But nobody's coming to give you permission.
You have to give permission to yourself.
You don't have to start well.
You just have to start well.
A bad first draft is better than no first draft.
A messy beginning is better than a clean nothing.
