So I think that we need a tax holiday for small businesses for several years.

Well, I'm not going to put out the specifics now we're thinking about it, but I think if you are a small business under 100 people, again, which employ 50% of California residents,

I think we should dramatically reduce your taxes over the next few years to get things moving again.

Yeah.

Well, listen, here are the facts.

When Newsom was elected.

seven years ago.

The budget for the state of California annually is $200 billion.

Today, it's 60% higher.

It's $322 billion.

uh it's been it's been us it's been a steady increase year after year chuck um uh it's not it's not been sort of a a one-year massive pickup so we've grown 60 in our state budget

since 2019 and we're worse off for it.

So, you know, I think that the story of California is that more money doesn't mean less problems.

It's actually been more money, more problems.

So where do we find the money?
