When I have a deadline, I have to get things done.
And at night, so I avoid revenge, bedtime procrastination.
But sometimes it happens.
Like, I'm a human, you know?
So this past week—
Not to be a real downer, but there have been things that have been in the media the past week that have been really challenging, especially as a woman.
And so I have found myself with the primal earth to scroll.
My amygdala has been triggered.
I have been going down rabbit holes, and I wouldn't ordinarily do that.
So I give myself grace, too, and have a sense of self-compassion.
Do you feel like you're addicted to your phone?
And not calling it addiction.
Only to get worse with the AI chatbot.
There's so much going on in the brain.
So, you know, when you're thinking about – here's the thing.
Brain breaks are not nice to haves.
They're actually essential for your brain.
And so we talked a little bit about that, you know, default mode network and what happens to it.
When you're engaging with your devices and, you know, that's not a brain break.
That's activating all of the aspects.
